For Love of Words: Heaven

About 4 years ago i entered the dating world. It is a very new, scary, and exciting place to me. I had to come out of my shy, introverted shell not an easy thing for me to do and many will confirm my statement. A person gives their all, all their heart, all their soul, all emotions hoping and trusting it will be given back. If it ever ends (never going into a relationship thinking it will) nothing in this world can describe the sadness that can envelope the being. The next 3 poems are part of a trilogy of sorts about my first relationship.

The first in the trilogy is Heaven; declaration of a forever and always love. I was at my brother's house puppysitting. On their fridge were magnets that had different words on them "love", "I" etc. I sat there in front of the fridge for half an hour placing words together. From that I started this poem which is the first poem I ever wrote for someone I loved very much. Which also got me started on my love of writing poems

Dreaming we joyously danced in Heaven together

Show me again Heaven my darling

On Candlelight dreams we have tonight

All loving feelings ever light up true

Always and forever my hear is yours
