keepers

I love to play RPG. My most favorite game is Guild Wars. I belong to a guild called the Rewritten Remnants (RnR), which i must say is the best. Each guild has a guild hall, and there are many different places one can choose. RnR's guild hall is called the Isle of Meditation. It has a very oriental feel to it, 2 beaches, and places to overlook the ocean. I love the water its a very soothing element in my life.

There is one beach that is very special to me. I know what this may sound like, believe me if i told myself what i am about to tell you i would say 'weird' too. I have sat on this beach (with my character)

had many conversations with friends, sat there to contemplate things, and even found love.
It was on said beach that I wrote this next poem. friends and i were sitting, as we sometimes do, talking about times past. We talked about trials, hardships, loves and joys. We talked about how we wouldn't change a thing because those experiences have made us who we are.

Keepers

Keepers of Time, heed this humble plea
Wash not away the footprints of the past
That I trod with difficulty and care
Hold them firmly in place.

Let me not forget, Keepers, the heartaches
Or the loves I so cherish deep inside
Built with years of toil and gladness
Hold them firmly in place.

Keepers of time,  let not the oceans of the world
bear away the many dreams of yesterday
carefully placed with sadness and passion
Hold them firmly in place.

Let my heart see, dearest keepers, the future
That awaits this wandering and strong soul
Feet ready to stride bravely and hesitant
Hold them firmly in place

Oh keepers of time, let not the mist of uncertainty
Cloud the path set before me by gentle hands
Help my soul be steady and sure
Hold it firmly in place

Watch over my past and future, Sweet Keepers
Let me not forget all I have and will wrought
embrace my hand steadfastly and tenderly
Hold it firmly in place
